CHEMISTRY CALCULATORS pH Calculator Effortlessly determine the pH of acidic and basic solutions with our easy-to-use calculator.
📖
What is the pH Calculator & How does it work?

The pH scale is a logarithmic measure used to specify the acidity or alkalinity of an aqueous solution. It ranges from 0 (most acidic) to 14 (most basic), with 7 being neutral.

The pH is calculated using the formula:

\[ \text{pH} = -\log_{10}[\text{H}^+] \]
[H+] = concentration of hydrogen ions in moles per liter (M)

This formula shows that pH is the negative logarithm of the hydrogen ion concentration. The lower the concentration of hydrogen ions, the higher the pH value.
