PORT CALCULATOR Lactate Threshold Pace Calculator Calculate your estimated lactate threshold pace to enhance your endurance training.
📖
What is the Lactate Threshold Pace Calculator & How does it work?

The lactate threshold is the point during exercise when lactic acid begins to accumulate in the muscles at a rate faster than it can be removed, leading to fatigue. Understanding and improving your lactate threshold pace can significantly enhance your endurance performance.

To estimate your lactate threshold pace, we use a formula that considers your VO2 max (maximum oxygen uptake) and your running speed at VO2 max. The formula is:

Lactate\ Threshold\ Pace = \frac{VO_2\ Max}{Running\ Speed\ at\ VO_2\ Max}
VO_2 Max = Maximum oxygen uptake in milliliters per kilogram of body weight per minute.
Running Speed at VO_2 Max = Your running speed when you reach your maximum oxygen uptake.
