What is the Mole Calculator & How does it work?
In chemistry, the mole is a fundamental unit that represents a specific number of particles (atoms, molecules, ions, etc.). The molar mass of a substance is its mass per mole and is used to convert between the mass of a substance and the number of moles.
n = \frac{m}{M}
n = moles, m = mass (g), M = molar mass (g/mol)

The volume of a gas can also be related to the number of moles through the ideal gas law. For an ideal gas at standard temperature and pressure (STP, 0°C and 1 atm), one mole occupies 22.4 liters.
